Lonsdales is a fourth generation family business providing metal recycling and waste management services to industry and the general public, in the Midlands and Staffordshire, since 1926. Lonsdales have been ISO certified 9001:2015 (Quality) and 14001:2015 (Environment) since 2001
We offer metal recycling, including recycling of plant and machinery and redundant stock with secure destruction available for sensitive items. We also offer scrap battery recycling and waste management solutions for other waste types. We don’t charge for transport for metal (subject to minimum weights), using our own fleet of vehicles, and we provide skips, bins and other containers free of charge as part of our service. Our expertise means we can work with you and deliver a tailor-made service to meet your requirements whether you require a regular service or just a one off.

We have a weighbridge on site for weighing material in and out and which is open to the public
We have over 25,000 sq ft of warehouse space and we can offer long and short term ambient commercial storage for palletised and non-palletised items.
